Talha and Her Nightmare

Talha was a slave, living on the estate with her parents. One night, the Lords son barged into their rooms, attempting to force himself on the pretty tiefling. Her parents resisted, and im a rage at bekng denied by those he considered "lesser", he killed them in front of Talha. At that point, a Voice offered Talha the Power to avenge her family, if she would serve. Talha agreed, and after killing the Nobles son, the Noble, and the guards, she freed the slaves and vanished.

Four hundred years later, she reappeared, this time sitting astride a Nightmare with no reins or saddle. She and the demonic horse had Bonded, becoming entwined in mind and heart so deeply that they were truly one being. The savage beauty now hunted as their Other self did, consuming their prey, sapient or not. They still served their Devilish Patron, the Lady of the 6th Level of Hell, Glasya, Daughter of Asmodeus.

Adventuring, they found love and acceptance in Ragnar Velkhan, the Lord of Dracan. Part vampire and part dragon, he journeyed with them as they helped overthrow a corrupt king, battled a necromancer, and brought peace to the war-torn land of Beresemir. Then they retired to Dracan to raise their children, their "foals" as Talha Deathblossom Velkhan called them. And their children Bonded their own Nightmares and joined the Herd, protecting their lands from paladins and priests who would harm their people.
