Nakir Reveraster

Nakir Reveraster is a Red Wizard of the Thay and practices the lost magical art of hemomancy, or blood magic. He started off as a student under one of the zulkirs (powerful mages who led the country) but fled the country with Szaas Tam started the civil war. After adventuring in Turmish and unlocking the secrets of hemomancy and becoming stronger, he returned to the Thay to defeat Szaas Tam and reinstate the old zulkirs as the leading power structure. As a reward, his mentor made a new seat on the council of zulkirs for the school of hemomancy and gave it to him, so he's a zulkir now with high station and authority. As a royal, I would imagine his appearance would reflect his status.

He's definitely a neutral evil type character who doesn't care much for diplomacy and will go to extreme measures to achieve his goals, and doesn't care who he hurts or kills in the process. He's typically a more serious person and the type to look down on other people. He is entirely self-focused and self-preserving.
